While many sports mostly have a home and away kit, in cricket, it's very rare to see a team change their jersey colours, especially as the team's identity is attached to it. For example, the Indian cricket team is often seen wearing jerseys in shades of blue.
So when it comes to the Indian Premier League (IPL), most teams have stuck with their original colours or upgraded to new ones to adhere to their theme.
However, on some occasions, to promote honourable causes, teams wear a completely different jersey for just a game. Let's look at the teams that have and may switch jerseys for one match in the 17th edition of the IPL.
RCB this year had a change in their name and also made changes to their original jersey, replacing the black with blue, but keeping the fiery red intact. However, like every year, for one match, they will don the green kit which aims to spread awareness about creating a cleaner and greener environment.
RR has been a team that has consistently sported the pink and blue shade of jersey. However, for one game this year, they donned a full pink kit as part of the Pink Promise campaign, which focuses on women's empowerment in rural India.
The original LSG jersey features various shades of blue along with a black pattern. However, for one game, they made a striking departure by donning a green and maroon jersey for the first time. Mohun Bagan inspired this change, as both the Kolkata football giants and LSG share the same principal owner, Indian billionaire Sanjiv Goenka.

The winners of 2022 and the runners-up of 2023, GT, typically sport a dark blue kit with shades of yellow. However, they could wear a lavender jersey for one game to show their support in the fight against cancer.
Like every year, the team has continued with red and blue as the primary colours of their jersey. However, for one game, they might switch to a light and bright blue jersey inspired by Delhi's heritage and innovation. This unique design features the historic city map and iconic metro line.
