The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is scheduled to take place in Ayodhya this afternoon (January 22), and the entire nation is poised to witness the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be leading the proceedings. The Ram Temple Trust has extended invitations to various dignitaries, including sports personalities like cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra.
Prominent cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni, among others, have been invited to the ceremony. The list also includes India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, along with Ravindra Jadeja, legendary Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Virender Sehwag, and Mithali Raj.

Other notable athletes in attendance could be Neeraj Chopra, Saina Nehwal, Leander Paes, PV Sindhu, PT Usha, and legendary chess player Vishwanathan Anand, who have also been invited.

While shuttler Saina Nehwal and Indian Olympic Association president PT Usha arrived in Uttar Pradesh the day before the ceremony, there is no official update on Neeraj Chopra's participation.
Spinner Keshav Maharaj, hailing from a Hindu family, has also extended his wishes to the Indian community in South Africa ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

The inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is marked by the upcoming consecration (Pran Pratishtha) of Shri Ram Lalla, scheduled to take place between 12:15 PM and 12:45 PM on January 22.
More than 7,000 dignitaries, including cricketers, individuals from the entertainment industry, and businessmen, have received invitations to participate in the ceremony.
