Day 7 kicked off with a gold medal win for India's Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale in the mixed doubles tennis event. Additionally, Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Lovlina Borgohain also ensured India's presence on the boxing medal podium.

Furthermore, fans are in for a double delight with two India vs. Pakistan encounters scheduled at the Asian Games. The first showdown takes place in men's squash, where the Indian team faces Pakistan in the final, while the second clash occurs on the hockey field, with Harmanpreet Singh and his team taking on Pakistan.

Five Indian athletes secured spots in various sports finals. Murali Sreeeshankar and Jeswin Aldrin, competing in the men's long jump, both qualified for the final.

Indian hurdlers Joythi Yarraji and Nithya Ramraj earned spots in the final of the women's 100m hurdles. Additionally, Jinson Johnson and Ajay Kumar Saroj advanced to the final in the 1500m race.

Hockey: India went on to clinch an electrifying victory against Pakistan. The Men in Blue won 10-2 in the men's hockey (Preliminary Pool A).

Badminton: Kidambi Srikanth makes a strong comeback! He helps take India into their first Men's Team event. Prannoy defeated Jeon Hyeok Jin 18-21, 21-16, 21-19.

Later Kang-Seo defeated the Indian duo Satwik-Chirag 21-13, 26-24.

Lakshya Sen made a comeback for India and won against Lee Yun Gyu 21-7, 21-9.

However, Kim Won Ho - Na Sung Seung proved difficult for Dhruv-Arjun 21-16, 21-11.

Later Cho Geonyeop gave Srikanth a scare, but the Indian kept his calm and got India the win 12-21, 21-16, 21-14.

Bridge: At the end of today's Round Robin Matches, 

1. The Men's team ranked 2nd with 205.98 VPs. 

2. The Mixed team ranked 4th with 178.62 VPs.

3. The Women's team ranked 7th with 69.1 VPs.

10000m Final: Kartik Kumar and Gulveer Singh finished 2nd and 3rd in Men's 10000m to win Silver and bronze respectively. Karthik Kumar finished with 28:15.38secs while Gulveer Singh finished with a timing of 28:17.21secs.

Chess: In round 2, the Indian men’s team drew with Uzbekistan 2.0-2.0 while the Indian women’s team defeated Vietnam 2.5-0.5

Table Tennis: Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee have secured victory over China's Wang Yidi and Chen Meng, marking a historic moment for India in women's doubles table tennis at the Asian Games. 

The Indian duo has delivered a stunning upset by defeating the world No. 2 pair on their home turf. This achievement guarantees India its first-ever women's doubles medal at the Asian Games in table tennis.

Squash: The men's team squash final saw India defeat Pakistan to win GOLD. Abhay Singh fights back to beat Pakistan's Noor Zaman to clinch victory. India secured the gold by defeating Pakistan 2-1 in the best-of-three final contest. Abhay sealed the victory with a 12-10 win in the fifth and final game.

Boxing: Narender Berwal in the men's 92kg category makes his way into the semi-finals after he defeated Ramezanpourdelavar in the QF 5-0.

Weightlifting: Mirabai Chanu, the Olympic silver medalist, faced disappointment as she couldn't successfully lift 117 kg in two attempts, dashing her hopes of securing a weightlifting medal. Unfortunately, during her final attempt, it appeared that she might have sustained an injury. Her total score for the event concluded at 191.

3×3 Basketball: The Indian women's team is into the quarter-finals as they defeat a much higher-ranked Malaysian team by 16-6.

Tennis: Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale make a terrific comeback and win the gold medal in Mixed Doubles. This is India's second medal from tennis. The Indian duo beat Taipei pair 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 in Final. 

Boxing: Lovlina Borgohain in the 75kg category has assured India a medal as she moves to the semi-finals of the Asian Games on a unanimous decision over the South Korean boxer.

Table tennis: Manika Batra goes down fighting against Wang Yidi of China, by 2-4 margin.
