The Asian Games in Hangzhou saw the Indian contingent win their unprecedented 100th medal at the Asian Games with a victory over Chinese Taipei in the women's kabaddi final.
Prior to that, Ojas Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam claimed a hat-trick of gold medals, while Abhishek Verma bagged silver and Aditi Swami bagged a bronze as Indian archers signed off with a historic haul of nine medals at the tournament.

Badminton: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty clinch gold in the men's badminton doubles event. This marks India's inaugural gold medal in badminton at the Asian Games.
