Shot put: Tajinderpal Singh Toor, the defending champion, clinches gold with a throw of 20.36 meters on his sixth and final attempt.

3000m steeplechase: India's Avinash Sable claims GOLD with a timing of 8:19.53.

Badminton: Satwik/Chirag defeat Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang in the second match of the final. India now have a 2-0 lead.

Shooting: India's Kynan Darius Chenai wins Bronze in Men's Trap Individual final. Zoravar Singh Sandhu gets the 5th spot.

Badminton: Ahead of the Men's Team Final vs China, the Indian team faced a big blow as in-form shutter HS Prannoy will miss the final after he suffered an injury on Sunday, as per Olympics.com. Mithun Manjunathan will be the replacement.

Shooting: Poor start from India's Manisha Keer as she finishes 6th in women's Trap Individual FINAL.

Boxing: Jaismine faced a defeat in the Women's 60 Kg Quarterfinal against North Korea's Won U.

Sepaktakraw: India suffers a 0-2 defeat against Japan in the Preliminary Group B encounter.

Boxing: Parveen secures her spot in the Women's 57kg semifinals with a unanimous decision victory over Turdibekova of Uzbekistan, guaranteeing her a medal.

Squash: India defeats Philippines with a score of 11-7, 11-5 in Mixed Doubles Pool D.
