The Girlfriend Experience

The American anthology drama television series is created, written, and directed by Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz. Season 1 follows the life of Christine Reade, a second-year Chicago-Burnham Law School student who finds it extremely difficult to juggle her classes and expenses. She also begins interning at a law firm called Kirkland and Allen, which adds to her workload. On seeing her condition, her friend Avery reveals that she has been working as an escort and urges Christine to join her. Christine takes up the offer and begins her work as a high-end escort under the pseudonym ‘Chelsea Rayne’, and provides her clients 'the girlfriend experience', also known as GFE, which ensures both sexual and emotional gratification. Starring Riley Keough, Paul Sparks, and Mary Lynn Rajskub in the lead, the recurring cast includes Kate Lyn Sheil, Alexandra Castillo, Amy Seimetz, Aidan Devine, Sugith Varughese, Michael Therriault, Sabryn Rock, and James Gilbert, among others.
