Based on the book 'A Ticket To Syria' by Shirish Thorat, The Freelancer is a Hindi thriller series that follows an ex-Cop turned mercenary, Avinash Kamath aka 'The Freelancer', who goes on the daunting mission of rescuing Aliya — a newly wed girl trapped in a war torn Syria afflicted by the rose of ISIS terrorism. Created by Neeraj Pandey, the series features performances from Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi, Ayesha Raza Mishra, and Manjari Fadnnis among others.
