Srikanto

Srikanto is a Bengali drama series that serves as a musical retelling of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s eponymous novel and presents a modern take on the relationship between Srikanto and Rajlokkhi. The plot follows Srikanto and Rajlokkhi’s sensual yet sporadic love that transcends space and time— and while at the heartbreaking separation between the two, Abhaya enters Srikanto’s life even though his passionate fascination with Rajlokkhi strives for closure. Directed by Sani Ghose Ray, the series features performances from Rishav Basu, Sohini Sarkar, Madhumita Sarcar, Gayathrie Shankar, Angana Roy, June Maliah, and Sukrit Saha, among many others.
