Singa Penne

Singa Penne is a remake of the Marathi show Lagira Zhala Ji. This ZEE5 Original Tamil series portrays the story of a woman overcoming all hurdles to reach her goals. The narrative revolves around Mahalakshmi, an independent village girl, who is determined to break social mores and train herself to join the Border Security Force. The show examines her motivations behind joining the security force and explores her journey to define herself, breaking patriarchal shackles on the way. The first part of the series aired on December 22, 2020, and featured Paayal Radhakrishna and Arnav in lead role. It was directed by R. Pavan and produced by actress Kutty Padmini. Radhakrishna is best known for her 2017 Kannada movie Bengaluru Underworld, directed by PN Satya and the Award-winning Adarsh Eshwarappa directorial Bhinna.
