Shōgun

Based on the 1975 James Clavell novel of the same name, Shōgun is a historical drama limited series created by Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks. Set in Japan in the year 1600, the series follows Lord Yoshii Toranaga as he fights for his life while his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found to be marooned in a nearby fishing village. The swries features performances from Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai, Cosmo Jarvis, Tadanobu Asano, and Yûki Kedôin among others.
