Raayan Audio Launch

In his second directing endeavor, Dhanush wrote and directed the Tamil action-crime thriller Raayan. Under Sun Pictures, Kalanithi Maran is the film's producer. In addition to S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan, the ensemble cast is led by Dhanush as the title character. The movie centers on Kathavaraayan Raayan, the owner of a fast-food restaurant in North Chennai, as he tracks down the criminals responsible for prior family collapse. His search for the guilty takes him through the criminal underbelly.
