Maharani

Loosely inspired by various incidents that took place in Bihar in the 1990s which saw Lalu Prasad Yadav making his wife, Rabri Devi, his successor, Maharani is a Hindi political drama series created by Subhash Kapoor. Season 3 follows CM Rani Bharti as she gets accused of misgovernance and "jungle raj", after Bheem Bharti lands himself in jail. The series features performances from Huma Qureshi, Inaamulhaq, Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti, Pramod Pathak, Vineet Kumar, and Kanan Arunachalam.
