Love You as the World Ends

 The series is centred around the love story of a 26-year-old car mechanic Hibiki (Ryoma Takeuchi) Hibiki lives with his college sweetheart Kurumi (Ayami Nakajo), who he hopes to propose to. But before he can act on it, he gets trapped in a tunnel for a week. When he does make it out, he finds the world fully altered, with his town now turned into a ghost town and communication networks halted. He is fully desolate and isolated in his town, desperate for human contact. He is determined to reach Kurumi and profess his love to her. His straining attempts to make sense of a radically changed world is leavened by the fleeting possibility of love and tenderness.
