From David Milch and Kem Nunn, John from Cincinnati emerged in the year 2007 and follows a story where a man from nowhere or mysterious origin altogether, affects a dysfunctional family, involving the surfing community. There is only one season till today with ten episodes, with the original network, HBO. However, HBO canceled the show, since after the first episode, audiences seem to lose interest and by the last day it aired, it was canceled for further episodes or seasons.
