Freedom at Midnight is a historical drama series inspired by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre's eminent book, which recounts the final years of British rule in India and the ensuing independence movement. The exciting narrative centers primarily on Lord Louis Mountbatten, the first and final Viceroy of independent India, as he negotiates the difficulties of the partition and the political conflict among influential figures such as Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Mahatma Gandhi.
