Debi Doshmahavidya talks about the ten forms of Devi Sati. When Mahadev had refused to let Sati go for the Daksha-yagna, she refused to listen to him. Angered by Mahadev's insistence, Devi Sati revealed her 10 fierce avatars. Debi Doshmahavidya is a tale of each avatar and how they eventually culminate to Mahisasur Mardini.
