Heirs to the Land

Directed by Jordi Frades, the Spanish historical drama Los herederos de la tierra is set in the backdrop of 14th century Barcelona, wherein one young man sets out to fulfil his life's ambition of making a name for himself while keeping his vow made to the Estanyol family. Based on the namesake novel by Ildefonso Falcones, the series has Yon González, David Solans, and Elena Rivera as its star cast. 

Sequel to Cathedral of the Sea, the cast further includes Rodolfo Sancho, Michelle Jenner, María Rodríguez, Pere Arquillué, Manel Sans, Mercedes León, and Natalia Sánchez. Produced by Diagonal TV, the series premiered on Netflix, followed by a release on Atresmedia and Televisió de Catalunya.
