This American medical series is created by David Shore and follows the story of Dr. Gregory House, who is an unconventional medical genius, leads a team of diagnosticians, and craves for rejecting cases he doesn't find interesting. With its engaging plot and an ensemble cast, House M.D. became the most-watched television show in the world in 2008. The show was critically acclaimed for not relying on obscure medical mysteries but also giving attention to relationships that felt promising. This show has been using a lot of Sherlock Holmes references as well. Shore, being a Holmes fan, uses the same investigatory method of fictional Sherlock Holmes to eliminate diagnosis logically.
