Chernobyl, directed by Johan Renck and written by Craig Mazin, is a miniseries based on a true incident in Ukraine. The miniseries are about an explosion that happened at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine on April 26, 1986. Jared Harris, playing the role of Valery Legasove, investigates and brings out the reasons behind the explosion and radiation poisoning. He achieves this with the help of Ulana, played by Emily Watson, and Boris played by Stellan Skarsgard. This miniseries aired on May 6, 2019, on HBO (US) is about a nuclear disaster and the cleanout and revelation of the truth related efforts that followed. This series based on a true story that conveys suffering and sacrifice where Valery Legasov, Boris Shcherbina, and Ulana Khomyuk truly risk everything to expose the truth about Chernobyl.
