Bored to Death

Bored to Death is a 2009 American comedy drama series created by Jonathan Ames. The show follows the story of Jonathan Ames, a thirty-year-old writer, who is currently going down in his life. He decides to lead dual lives - one himself and the other of a private detective. His girlfriend wants to break up with him. As the story progresses, he gets his first client, who wants Ames to follow someone to see if they’re a cheat. He receives different cases, like, tracking down an extortionist, a police officer and many more. Jonathan finds it difficult to manage two professions but does it nonetheless. Throughout the show, Ames gets in troublesome situations like being kidnapped, or having to investigate spouses and partners. A comic show, well executed.
