Story:

Gulab (Sonam Bajwa) meets a Punjabi boy Shera (Ammy Virk) who is the epitome of innocence. She wants to marry him since he is the man her grandmother would talk about. Things are no easy though. Will she finally get him and will they last through the mad ride?

Review:

As soon as Sher Bagga begins, Ammy Virk impresses as an irritating character. Meanwhile, Sonam Bajwa slowly leaves an impact as a strong, independent woman.

The mystery in the film develops soon after. The best part about this movie is that it keeps the fun element intact even with the drama unfolding.

Sonam's bed scene with Ammy is so hilarious it is close to Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express scene. Soon, we also see a version of Jab We Met that we fell in love with. These scenes definitely help in taking the film to the next level.

Sher Bagga is a movie you cannot take your eyes off. It is not only feel good but also takes you on a journey that you wish doesn't stop.

Another good bit about the story is that there is always a mystery factor introduced. It breaks the flow of the story, only to make it better.

If Sonam had her moment in the film, Ammy also subtly steals the show with his cute little antics. Unfortunately, the story gets a little predictable from there, even if you hope all the things happen exactly as they do.

This roller-coaster of a ride has an ending you expect. It is hilarious and apt nonetheless.

Verdict:

Sher Bagga is a good entertainer. It is not an experimental film so don't expect to be wowed by the concept. Nonetheless, the formula applied in the film (a combination of many successful Bollywood movies) works and so, it makes for a good watch.
