Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame Review

Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame is a village drama that has a traditional setting. A couple getting married against their parent's wish, getting back to their village to reconsile with their parents and landing into more problems have been showcased in so many films earlier. But the manner in which the entry of the main villain happens in a tense family setup looks quite interesting.

The native village setting and the sensibilities of the people living in small towns have been showcased well. The father-son relationship between Suman Tej and Sivaji Raja has been showcased in an interesting manner. But all this has a very predictable narration in the film. The initial scenes featuring Gagan Vihari have been designed in an effective manner.

Also, the manner in which his role brings depth to the film is good. But to enjoy all this, one has to sit through a lethargic first half. Director Sateesh Paramveda has designed a few scenes in such a way that they look a bit forced. The action scenes, in particular, are in abundance and bore the audience after a point.

Too much hype is created for the villain, even though there is no need to do so much. The pace of the film is also slow, and the routine family drama in the second half is a big bore. The writing does not have any freshness in it and the manner in which the film ends is also highly predictable. Story-wise, there is nothing new the film showcases.

Coming to the performances, Suman Tej is decent in his role. Though he looks a bit rustic in the action blocks, he is good when it comes to showcasing emotions. Garima Chauhan does a wonderful job in her important character. Nagineedu is good but he is getting repetitive in the same roles time and again.

Sivaji Raja, as the doting father, was neat. But the heart of the film is Gagan Vihari, who plays the main villain. He is amazing in his role, and whenever he is on screen, things become exciting. Though he is loud and takes time to register with us, the way Gagan has done his role sincerely is good to see.

Charan Arjun has composed the music, and his score is disappointing to say the least. But his BGM was okay. The production values of the film are not that great, as the dull visuals are proof. The manner in which the screenplay is dealt a lot to be desired. But the film has some decent drama in the second half, which holds your attention. Apart from that, Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame is a routine village drama.

Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame Verdict

On the whole, Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame is a routine village drama that a predictable premise. But a few family emotions and drama in the second half hold your attention.
