Story: A happy family gets the shock of their life when they come across two peculiar characters making weird requests to move close to them. While the first person considers it his right to stay on the premises of their newly built house, the second person dictates terms to the family members. How is the family going to tackle them?

Review: Though the first episode of Ramany vs Ramany 3.0, the third instalment of the popular franchise, which started streaming a week ago, was engaging only in parts because of the generic emotions, the second episode fares better in many ways. This time, there are a couple of unconventional characters and an intriguing conflict.

Titled Masterly Servants, this episode begins with the four-member happy family returning home after a short trip to find that an unknown person has entered their house premises.

To the family's surprise, the person starts behaving as if the house belongs to him, leaving the former puzzled. On questioning him, the person reveals that he was away from the city for a long time and that the family has built the house where his father has been buried.

He also asserts that he has no plans to leave the house as he has come back to see his father after a long time upon order from the deceased. Both Ramany and Ramany get the shock of their life after listening to the unknown person's revelation, and ask him to leave the place. But he remains unfazed and requests them to grant him permission to work as a watchman for the house.

As if this isn't enough, an unknown lady who claims to be a good housemaid, enters the house and asks them to offer a job. The perplexed couple comes up with certain conditions after which the maid, too, lets them know her demands. How are Ramany and Ramany going to deal with the watchman and housemaid they appointed half-heartedly hereafter?

The 32-minute episode has some funny moments, thanks to the riveting performance from all the actors who played significant roles in this segment. Unlike the previous episode, which had an underwhelming plot, the conflict works this time because of the unusual situations and the spontaneous humour which generates from them.

The actress who played the housemaid was a scream, and Ramji's helpless expression was the icing on the cake. The adorable and convincing chemistry between Ramki and Vasuki is another positive factor which helps the viewers to get hooked to the episode.

The children of the couple, too, get more screen space this time when compared to the first episode. Though their performances are okayish, the presence of the two of them adds conviction to the whole family set up.

Verdict: The performances of the actors who play significant characters is the highlight of this episode.
