Story:

Varun and Ria are back. They go through the various stages of love and heartbreaks while chasing their dreams and standing up for it.

Review:

Minus One season 2 commences in the cutest manner - with flashbacks of our adorable leads. They are their cutest as soon as the show begins.

The toxicity in Minus One continues. It makes you uncomfortable in all ways possible.

There are a few scenes where there's no movement. That too conveys something. It is in fact beautiful how such scenes leave more impact than the ones which keep flashing.

Ria and Varun are back and how! The reason for their breakup is here and it's not surprising, given how they have been.

Ayush Mehra in the role of Varun is cute. Aisha Ahmed, on the other hand, is more daring than ever! She is brilliant in her role this time around. Her graph is the best you can see in the series.

The two are bolder than ever. The scene is shot unlike seen in any web series before.

The close-ups of their faces, surprisingly, work well. Ayush's outburst, unfortunately, is not up to the point.

Kira Narayanan as Varun's lover is a surprise. She does her job well.

Minus One is a great Valentine's Day treat. The first episode itself hits you hard.

This time, parents get involved which complicates the matters. Some other times, it helps.

The episodes aren't instantly cute. They grow on you but have a slow pace which affects this show.

Kusha Kapila as Tara is fine. She has a smaller role but works pretty well.

The graph between the couple gets better. The journey from immaturity to being mature is quite something.

Ayush kills it with his expressions ahead of Ria and Varun's break-up. The post break-up, though, barely connects.

Too many co-incidences make the show appear fictional. However, like they say, all's well that ends well. Minus One had a story to tell and here we are.

Verdict:

Minus One is a long journey into nothingness. It is probably inspired from real life and isn’t the unusual, like season one was. Maybe that’s where the makers should have ended this show. Talking about ends, the best part about Minus One season 2 (which is so long to pronounce too) is the last scene. With that, it is hopefully a goodbye to the once toxic yet adorable couple.
