Story:

Rajat and Ishita were separated from each other due to circumstances. Due to that, many things changed between them. Can they go back to being normal?

Review:

Baahon Mein Chale Aao. No, we're no in the mood for a song. That is what the first episode of Flames season 3 is. However, contrary to the title, the show starts with an intense moment with, you guessed it, Ritvik Sahore in it. The scene comes to light only in episode 4 - Khoya Khoya Chaand.

Sunakshi Grover's Anusha and Shivam Kakar's Pandey, who have been strong with him, are back as his biggest support. Tanya Maniktala's Ishita is the centre of episode one but she takes her own sweet time to appear.

Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish's Kaushal sir has made an impression in every season. This time, he faces problems in his Sunshine Tuition, as expected after his decision in the last season.

Ishita's father also leaves an impression this time, especially during his tet-a-tete with Rajat.

As always, rains make a comeback on the show. This time, too, it is at the apt moment - when everything is going wrong. The whole season is intense than any so far on the show.

We finally meet Kaushal's wife Radha too. She is cute even in the brief role.

Everyone is back in character. It is almost so in sync with the last season that you feel like it happened yesterday.

The second episode - Chupana bhi nahi aata, jataana bhi nahi aata - perfectly describes Rajat and Ishita.

The dialogues, as always are both hilarious and smart. At the same time, Pandu's accent makes you laugh.

Haule Haule is a cute song, one which will stay back with you. Even though it does nothing specific to add to the story, it is quite soothing in the situation.

Debobrato Mukherjee as Ritvik's brother Nikhil (Monu) has a delightful entry. It is during a moment where things seemed to be going too wrong and he comes as a refreshing change, one that was needed.

He, too, brings a suspense to the show. More than that, he promises a change.

The third episode, Jab Koi Baat Bighad Jaaye, is the cutest but for Anusha and Pandu. The episode also nails retro and in the same moment, jealousy. Ritvik is almost back as his Indori Ishq character in the particular scene.

Episode four of the series is the most intense. It is exactly what the show needed at that point of time

If a walk between Rajat and Ishita wasn't romantic enough, there's a swing involved. Ritvik nails the scene just a little more than Tanya, who cannot stop blushing. The mushy feelings just don't end since there's every childhood memory that comes back to you in the form of Rajat and Ishita.

Ishita's childhood friend Batri is a new character introduced in the series. His confrontation with Rajat is one of the best things to happen to the series.

Episode five - Kuch Tum Kaho, Kuch Hum Kahein - is about realization. It is about how wrong people are and how they get an opportunity to change.

Rajat and Ishita have a Badrinath Ki Dulhania moment and it is an absolute deja vu. Just like Badri and Vaidehi, these two set goals as well.

The series ends on a low note. It makes you wonder what will be the future of an important character of the show.

Verdict:

If you have been a fan of Flames, you will love season three. Even if has the lowest points in all of the seasons so far, this one is still appealing. Watch out for Ritvik, who still nails the role of a loner-lover.
