Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc episode 7 review: Tengen Uzui finally becomes likeable

Story:

Nezuko unleashes the demon within her. To what extent will she go? Will Nezuko ever stop and get back to being human? Can anybody stop the other demons who promise to harm humans?

Review:

Demon Slayer's latest episode will take you by surprise and at the same time, it will transport you to My Hero Academia's world. This time, Nezuko, Tanjiro and Tengen Uzui take the screen and each do justice to their character.

The episode begins where the last ended - with Nezuko showing her new side. Her new side is extremely powerful to the extent that it is scary.

Tengen is charming in this episode. His entry is just as flamboyant as he keeps promising. His communication with the demon is hilarious.

Inosuke is a delight like always. Accompanied with Zenitsu, the two end up making the intense scenes light.

A very big surprise is a part of this episode. The new demon in this episode will remind you of Shimura Tenko from My Hero Academia. He's skinny but smart and skillful.

The new demon brings in a big twist, one nobody was completely ready for. He is a dangerous one to deal with and bringing him at this point definitely helps keep the suspense of the show alive.

The post-credit scene gives you a little detail into Nezuko's character. While not the best post-credit scene, it is something that you can sit through. The scene is just additional to the story and does not really hold importance with the current storyline so you can either watch it or skip it, according to your preference.

Verdict:

The episode is definitely watchable. From Nezuko unleashing the demon within her to Tengen Uzui finally showing his likeable side, it has a lot to offer. The best part is that there is barely a moment when you get bored. Instead, there is a huge surprise within the episode. So go ahead and unveil it.
