The Telugu superstar Prabhas is one of the highest paid Indian celebrities today. His acting debut came in the year 2002 when he appeared in the Telugu drama Eeswar. However, his breakthrough role came in 2004 in the romantic action movie Varsham.
Billa, Darling and Mr. Perfect established him as a popular Telugu star. In 2015, he was cast as the lead role in SS Rajamouli's epic action drama Baahubali: The Beginning propelling him to national stardom. He also appeared in the sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which was also a box office blockbuster. His performances in the two movies were widely critically and commercially acclaimed.
He is set to appear in the fantasy drama movie Adipurush.
