The struggle between good and evil is a classic theme in storytelling, explored in films since the early days of cinema. Filmmakers have used this theme to create some of the most iconic and enduring films ever made.

Star Wars (1977), an epic space opera that follows the story of a young hero named Luke Skywalker, is one of the most iconic tales of good versus evil. Another classic is The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003), a fantasy epic that follows the hobbit Frodo Baggins and his companions on their quest to destroy the One Ring, an evil artefact created by the Dark Lord Sauron. Films and shows that follow similar themes are endless.

Some of the other films include The Hunger Games (2012), a dystopian film that tells the story of a young woman who volunteers to take her younger sister's place in a deadly competition. Superhero films and TV shows are possibly among the most obvious examples of stories that tackle a similar concept.
