In April 2021, Netflix announced that the original series The Sound of Magic, based on the popular webtoon Annarasumanara, would be produced. The Sound of Magic, directed by Kim Sung-youn, is a heartwarming drama about Yoon Ah-yi, a girl who had to grow up too quickly, and Rieul, a mysterious magician who, despite his age, wanted to stay a child.
