The veteran actor said that though he has played a cop in around 40 films, it is the uniqueness in his characterization which made him sign the movie. He also heaped praise on director Vignesh for his professional approach 

Ashok Selvan

The actor revealed that he first listened to the film's idea in 2015 and recollected a few memories associated with director Vignesh. Despite an influx in murder mysteries, Ashok said Por Thozhil wil stand apart owing to its presentation

The movie's director said that though he hasn't assisted anyone, he has learnt from many. He apologized to the team members for torturing them with his discipline
