Nihal Rajput plays Vijay Sankeshwar

Nihal Rajput, who debuted with the paranormal film Trunk, returns to the big screen with this biopic. He plays Vijay Sankeshwar, the founder of VRL Transport and Logistics and media houses like Vijay Karnataka (now under the TOI group) and Vijayavani, among others. 

Rishika Sharma helms Vijayanand

Rishika Sharma was the director of Trunk. She now returns with Vijayanand, th biopic that she spent months in research before going on floors. 

Siri Prahlad is Mrs Sankeshwar

Siri plays Lalitha Sankeshwar, Vijay's wife in the film. The real-life Lalitha is credited with being his biggest support system as he started his own transport and logistics business and went from one truck to a fleet of over 5,000 vehicles. 

Bharath Bopanna is Anand Sankeshwar

Bharath plays Anand Sankeshwar, Vijay's son, in the film. Anand is the Joint-MD of most of the family businesses, including the transport and media houses and now, the film production wing.

Gopi Sundar makes his Kannada film debut with Vijayanand

Mollywood import composer Gopi Sundar comes to Sandalwood with Vijayanand. Gopi was in Bengaluru this week for the film's audio launch. The first single was officially released at the event.

Vijayanand releases in theatres this December

The tale of Vijay Sankeshwar and his VRL Logistics will be in theatres on December 9. The film is being released as a pan-India venture.
