Singh is King
Singh is King, an action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee, released in 2008. The film features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in leading roles. Sonu Sood, along with Om Puri, Neha Dhupia, Javed Jaffrey, and Sudhanshu Pandey is part of the supporting star cast.
Sonu Sood plays the role of Lucky/Lakhan Singh, a gangster based out of Australia who is famous as King. The plotline of the movie follows Happy, played by Akshay Kumar trying to influence King to come back home with him.
While there was not much to do on Sonu's part, the actor nailed the merciless character. He excelled at making his part memorable in the minds of the audience. The film is now a cult classic and its very famous dialogue, "Gali gali mein chor hai, Lakhan paji chor hai", addressed to Sonu is a very popular catchphrase amongst the young Indian audience. Jodhaa Akbar
Jodhaa Akbar is a 2008 Hindi historical drama. Ashutosh Gowariker has written and co-directed the movie which is a 16th-century epic. It features Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. Sonu Sood features in a supporting role in the film along with Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Ila Arun.
The romantic drama focuses on the love story of Mughal emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar, played by Hrithik Roshan, and the princess Jodhaa Bai, played by Aishwarya Rai. Sonu Sood plays the role of Jodhaa's (Aishwarya Rai) brother Sujamal Singh who tries to gain the seat of power. Sonu garnered much praise for playing this gray character and his dynamic with Aishwarya Rai was much adored by the fans.

Dabangg is a 2010 action-comedy film. The film directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap is produced by Malaika Arora and her Arbaaz Khan. The film features Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles.
Sonu Sood plays the role of the main antagonist, Cheddi Singh in the film.
