Vir Das kills a promising idea with a mediocre show

Hasmukh is not your typical small-town guy makes it big in 'Bambai' kind of show. In fact, it has a very interesting premise- that of a comedian getting his 'feel' from killing the bad guys

A matter of laughs and death

Vir Das is watchable and capable of carrying a show like Hasmukh on his shoulders. But the sloppy writing never lets him be in complete control of his craft.

Vir Das keeps this dull dark comedy afloat

A few flaws aside, the crackling chemistry between Das and Ranvir Shorey make this Netflix show extremely watchable
