Main Tera Hero is a pav bhaji picture, quick, spicy, hot. It has the depth of a comic strip but it also has its neon-shaded fun.


Varun tries everything in his repertoire to be this hero: he fights, dances, and tries to be funny, topping it all up with a man-boob-mobile-nipple moment.

Main Tera Hero unfortunately takes a long, meandering, and utterly boring route to get to the climax we all saw coming two minutes into the film.



Main Tera Hero is a complete entertainment film. The film has action, comedy, drama, romance, a lip lock, a party number and a cute villain.

This one’s worth it for the ‘howlarity’ of it all. And Shahid in his element. ‘Vishwas’ nahin hota? ...Go watch! 

While the first half of the film is at least filled with dialogues aimed at making audiences laugh out loud, it seems Santoshi, who wrote the film.

Rajkumar Santoshi's PPNH starts with a lot of promise but it soon fizzles out and even tests your patience.

 Happy Ending's a fun film with a melodious, modern take on individuals and pyaar. It's an NRI movie that side-steps dilemmas and pain.

'Happy Ending' piles up many more as it goes along, making the film a series of been-here, seen-this moments, and a wasted opportunity.


Ultimately, Happy Ending feels quite pointless – we’re never sure what the story of Yudi and Aanchal is meant to signify.



The title of the film does not justify its ending. It is too predictable and falls flat in the end. You can watch the film if witty comedies entertain you.
