Zero promotions for Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square bothering fans, is the film getting postponed again?

Tillu Square is one of the most awaited films this year as it is the sequel to Siddhu Jonnalagadda's blockbuster hit DJ Tillu and is all set to hit the screens on March 29, 2024. The trailer caught the attention of one and all but the promotions of the film are yet to start and this has worried the fans a bit.

Is Tillu Square getting postponed

As there are less than two weeks to go, fans expect something or the other from the makers but the producers are silent. Not a single promotional content has been released and this has created a new rumor that the film will miss the release date yet again as the shoot of the film and post-production are still pending.

Tillu Square has been postponed thrice already. It was supposed to be released in August last year and since then, it has been only pushed ahead and is finally released on March 29. Siddhu Jonnalagadda is known to delay his films and shoot them for the longest time and the same has been happening with this film as well.

But there is a theory in all this and that is the makers are purposely silent and feel that a film like Tillu Square does not need such extensive promotions as it is a much-awaited movie and the fans will watch it anyhow. One of the sources close to the unit says that there is no delay in the release and the makers have planned extensive promotions in the last week of its release.

Anupama Parameswaran goes bold in Tillu Square

The thinking here is that a week is enough for a film like Tillu Square to bring it back into the news. Anupama Parameswaran plays the female lead in this film and she is seen in a very bold avatar in this film. Her chemistry with Siddhu is going to be one of the biggest highlights, as per the makers.

Mallik Ram has directed Tillu Square and Naga Vamsi is the producer. The pre-release business is happening at a brisk pace and the makers are demanding big bucks for the OTT rights to the film. The first part was bagged by Aha and we need to see who will buy the sequel's digital rights.
