ZEE5 ups the ante in the Telugu market, announces 11 new original shows; here’s all you need to know!

Leading OTT player ZEE5 is going all out to assert its authority in the Telugu digital space. The platform, which has consistently backed quality regional content, is at its aggressive best now and has announced 11 new Telugu originals as part of its content slate today. A grand event was hosted at Novotel HICC, Hyderabad for the massive announcement.

The creme de la creme of the Telugu industry graced the event. The list includes producers Dil Raju, Niharika, Pranathi Reddy, Sushmita Konidela, directors Harish Shankar, Praveen Sattaru, Anand Ranga, writer Kona Venkat, actors Sushanth, Priya Anand, Lavanya Tripathi, Anjali, Aadi Saikumar, Nivetha Pethuraj, Naresh Agastya, Naga Babu, Raj Tharun, Shivani Rajasekhar and composer Anup Rubens.

The 11 originals that ZEE5 had announced were Recce, Hello World, Bahishkarana, Paruvu, The Black Coat, Aha Naa Pellanta, Prema Vimanam, Hunting of the Stars, Maa Neella Tank, ATM and Mission Tashaffi. The first among the list of Telugu originals to stream on ZEE5 will be Recce on June 17. The show stars Sivabalaji, Srikanth, Dhanya Balakrishna, Rajashree Nair, Saranya Pradeep, Ester Noronha and Aadukalam Naren.

Hello World

The story revolves around a gang of techies who have just started their careers and takes viewers through their mis-steps and antics with an adequate dose of laughter. Produced by Niharika Konidela, the show stars Aryan Rajesh, Sadha, Sudharshan and Nitya Shetty in key roles.

Bahishkarana

What happens when journey that is expected to be full of love takes a turn for the worse, with insult and humiliation? Watch Bahishakarana to know how and where it all started. Stars Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Shritej, Basha, Ravindra Vijay.

Recce

The political assassination drama is set in 1990s in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh, where a recce artist is out to murder a local leader with his three henchmen. Will the cops catch up with the group and save lives? Stars Srikanth, Dhanya Balakrishna, Rajashree Nair, Saranya Pradeep, Ester Noronha and Aadukalam Naren.

The Black Coat

The show revolves around a college student who is making his mark as a lawyer. Does he have it in him to make it big and win a case against a reputed and powerful lawyer? The Black Coat features Karthik Rathnam and Hebah Patel in the lead.

Aha Naa Pellanta

Featuring Raj Tarun, Shivani Rajashekar, Getup Srinu, Harshavardhan, Bhadram and Raghu Karumanchi in key roles, the show promises to be a laugh riot about a young man who has waited all his life to get married but gets dumped on his wedding day.

Paruvu

Hunting of The Stars
