Zee TV bags the satellite rights for KGF:Chapter 2 for South Indian languages

KGF: Chapter 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of this year. The filmmakers of the period action drama have announced that ZEE has acquired the satellite rights for all South Indian languages of KGF:Chapter 2. The South versions of the film will stream on Zee Kannada, Zee Telugu, Zee Tamil and Zee Keralam.

Channel also acquired satellite rights for another biggest release of the year, RRR. According to the sources, KGF Chapter 2 is bagged at a huge price but the amount is not disclosed.

The roaring star Yash-starrer KGF Chapter 1 which was released in 2018 took over the box office by storm and the fans have ever since been eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Rocky Bhai on the screen again and for the next chapter of the film.

The shoot of the film is wrapped up and is currently at the post-production stage. The pre-release work is also going on simultaneously. KGF:Chapter 2 was initially anticipated for a July release this year but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release had to be postponed. The new release date is yet to be announced.

KGF 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel and Sanjay Dutt plays the role of an antagonist in the movie. This will mark his debut in the south Indian cinema. Srinidhi Shetty plays the role of the leading lady while Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Anant Nag and Rao Ramesh will be seen in supporting roles. Music is given by Ravi Basrur. The flick is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Homable Films.
