Yuvraj Singh biopic back on track? Here's everything we know so far

That there will be a biopic on celebrated Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is a known fact, and there were never two ways about it. But it was in August 2024 when it was confirmed that Yuvraj had given a nod to T-Series to back a biopic based on his life, with filmmaker Ravi Bhagchandka—currently working as a producer on Sitaare Zameen Par—also associated with the project. The three had shared a picture together. However, nothing about the movie emerged after that, and audiences assumed the project had hit a roadblock. Turns out, Ravi has now shared a picture with Yuvraj, hinting that the project is back on track.

Ever since the announcement, Yuvraj Singh’s biopic has been one of the most awaited films. Adding to the anticipation and excitement, filmmaker Ravi Bhagchandka has offered a glimpse into a recent meet-up, indicating further progress on the film. The Instagram story he shared features him with Yuvraj Singh and two others posing for the camera. The caption on the image reads, “Yuvraj Singh, what's the score?” While there is no official confirmation on whether work has begun, this certainly feels like a hint. Earlier last year, Ravi Bhagchandka’s 200NOTOUT Films, in association with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films, announced the Yuvraj Singh biopic—delighting cricket fans across the globe. Further adding to the excitement, Ravi took to social media to share a new picture with Yuvraj Singh, sparking fresh speculation about the film’s development.
