Veteran actor Anupam Kher’s much-awaited Vijay 69 is all set to be streamed on Netflix in November.

Following the rave reviews of ZEE5's The Signature, Anupam Kher is again set to win hearts with his unique acting skill in the upcoming Yash Raj Films' Vijay 69. The veteran actor will be seen as a 69-year-old triathlon athlete. Notably, it is for this film that Kher even learned to swim last year! To build more anticipation, the streaming platform, Netflix announced the film's release date today, October 11.
Vijay 69 release date is out
A while ago, Netflix India took to their Instagram handle and shared a motion poster of Vijay 69 featuring Anupam Kher. Sharing the poster, they revealed that the film will be released on the platform on November 8.
They captioned the post, "Zindagi ek race nahin hai. It’s a triathlon Vijay 69 is out on 8 November, only on Netflix."

Director Akshay Roy on Vijay 69
In a statement, the director of Vijay 69, Akshay Roy said, “We are extremely excited to show everyone Vijay 69, a feel-good, slice-of-life film about passion, grit and overcoming obstacles to win at life or, sometimes, a triathlon. YRF Entertainment has been committed to telling stories that are distinct and diverse."
He further added that he is thrilled that Vijay 69 is set to premiere on the biggest global streaming platform and this will help their endearing story reach audiences across the world and pull at their heartstrings.
Meanwhile, Vijay 69 will also feature Chunky Panday and Mihir Ahuja.
Vijay 69 will tell the story of a man, played by Kher, who decides to compete in a triathlon contest at the age of 69.
It is being produced by Maneesh Sharma, who previously directed Band Baaja Baaraat and produced Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, all for Yash Raj Films.

The veteran actor was recently seen in The Signature. The film also starring Neena Kulkarni is currently streaming on ZEE5 as well as OTTPlay Premium.
The film features Anupam Kher's Arvind, who is dealing with a serious crisis when his loving wife is diagnosed with a disease just before their international trip. After spending all his resources, Arvind makes a life-or-death choice for his wife when he seeks help from his own children.
Meanwhile, Anupam Kher will also be seen in Emergency, co-starring Kangana Ranaut.
