Taking to her Instagram account, the director shared some joyful moments with her best friend and extended hearty birthday wishes for the star athlete.
In a carousel of pictures, the 58-year-old prominent director shared a picture hugging Sania Mirza in a lavish restaurant setting. In another picture, the duo is joined by singer-songwriter Ananya Birla.
“Happy birthday my dearest @mirzasaniar may you always be happy, surrounded by friends and all who love you.. coz you deserve this and more,” captioned Farah Khan.

The young entrepreneur hopped in the comments and invited Farah Khan to join her soon again after a trip down memory lane. She wrote, “Come bacckkkkk,” along with a string of red hearts. Other media personalities and creators also extended their wishes to the birthday girl.

Sania Mirza is a celebrity and former tennis player of India with many accolades and achievements under her name. She is often papped with other B-town celebs at grand parties and events. The 36-year-old ex-professional tennis player tied the knot with ex-Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010 and welcomed a son Izhaan in 2018 with his husband.
