Virat Kohli's two-month break
Recently, at a post-match presentation ceremony, Kohli spoke about his two-month break. He said that he and his family weren't in the country, and in the place they were, not many people knew who we were. For him and for them as a family, it was a surreal experience. They spent time together as a family, attempting to feel normal for a period of two months.
Kohli provided more details about his period out of the spotlight in an interview with Harsha Bhogle. He stressed the value of family time, especially when it comes to his older child, Vamika. Naturally, from a family standpoint, things are very different when there are two children. It's wonderful to be able to spend time with an older child and form ties with them. He continued, saying he couldn't have been more thankful to God for the chance to spend time with my family.
He acknowledged that when he got back to India, the attention was overwhelming. He was telling his team that the sounds back home felt so much louder when they got back, just in the place that they were in. For two months, Kohli hadn't heard his name, leaving him unable to look up. He added that one hears these loud noises right away, and then everything starts over. However, it was stunning. It's an incredible sensation to simply exist as a regular person on the road, go unnoticed, and go about their everyday business.
