Whether, or not, Rishab Shetty is currently focused on Kantara 2 is a subject for discussion at a later point but it is certain at this point that he is no longer part of Bachelor Party. The Rakshit Shetty production, which will be directed by debutant Abhijit Mahesh, was to initially star Rishab, Diganth Manchale, and Achyuth Kumar, among others but with the former's commitments supposedly changing because of the prospective Kantara sequel, the team is now reportedly on the look-out for a replacement.

Not very long ago, Diganth made an informal announcement in an interview that Rishab Shetty has opted to exit Bachelor Party and that he will be replaced by a popular actor in the film.

And now, in this vein, reports emerge that Yogesh, popularly known as Loose Mada Yogi, will be part of the Bachelor Party trio. The actor will replace Rishab Shetty in the film and rekindle the project after all the casting issues - the makers, however, are yet to make an announcement regarding the same.

Bachelor Party will be a Paramvah Studios venture with Rakshit Shetty and G.S. Gupta serving as the producers. The supporting cast of the film, reportedly, includes Lucia Pawan Kumar, Sowmya Jaganmurthy, Balaji Manohar, and others with Arvind S. Kashyap handling cinematography.

Rishab, on the other hand, is yet to divulge details of his next and whether Kantara 2 is in the works. Not very long, actor-writer Prakash Thuminad, who played the role of Raampa in Kantara, revealed that the sequel is still very much in the nascent stage and that one could expect things to materialize before February. The film could also be a prequel, so to speak, with the new narrative exploring some of the open ends related to Shiva's childhood, his father, how the community came to be, etc.

As a director, he was to also helm the jungle adventure Rudraprayag with Anant Nag and another commercial film starring Shiva Rajkumar but both projects seem to be on hold at the moment.
