Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha has released on OTT. It was out on Amazon Prime Video a few hours back and netizens woke up to the surprise, most of them with delight. Sidharth shared the news of the OTT release on Instagram and soon after, fans flooded the comments section. Most of them cannot stop drooling or even comprehend how is the actor turning hot day-after-day. Of course, many couldn’t stop talking about the film either.
“Could have been a blockbuster”
Among the many reactions to the film, one felt that Yodha was blockbuster material. “Movie mein damm toh hai boss,” another wrote. But all was not rose-coloured for the film. A few did not like the movie either and made it clear in the comments section.
It is to be noted that critics, on the other hand, gave the film a low rating and eventually, Yodha underperformed when it released in theatres. “If there is one thing that gives Sidharth Malhotra the adrenaline to perform well and go beyond his set standards, it is playing a man in uniform. Minus Aiyaari, the men in both Shershaah and Yodha have kind of pushed the boundary for himself, and even if not the most nuanced performance, he has at least attempted to bring something new to the table,” OTTplay wrote as they reviewed the film.

Netizens drool over Sidharth
One comment for Sidharth read, “Bhai main toh pareeshan hoon yeh din bhar din hot hota jaa raha hai kaise.” Another called him Mr. Handsome. Most, on the other hand, expressed their views with fire emojis.
About the film
Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Yodha is helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The movie did not perform as expected at the Box Office, back when it released in theatres on March 15. The film stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. It also features Ronit Roy, Tanuj Virwani and Sunny Hinduja in pivotal roles.
