After the Sidharth Malhotra starrer Shershaah proved to be a sleeper hit, many of his fans were yearning to see him in uniform yet again. Well… it seems that the Gods have surely heard their prayers in the form of this week’s release Yodha. If the teasers and the trailers of the film are anything to go by, then, one thing looks certain that the film’s makers are surely sitting on a goldmine in the form of Yodha. Here are five reasons to catch up with the film as it releases tomorrow (March 15) in theatres all over.

Sidharth Malhotra, should we say more!
After the success of Shershaah (where he was seen in the role of war hero Vikram Batra), all the fans of Sidharth Malhotra were so very eager to see him in uniform yet again. So, here it is, Bollywood’s blue-eyed boy in his elements! The film will see him in the role of an armed force officer (Commando Arun Katyal), who has taken upon him the task of rescuing the passengers of a hijacked plane! Given his previous track record, it’s not rocket science to say that Sidharth Malhotra will surely do a great job at it!

In the year 2013, a petite young lady made her debut in Bollywood with the film Madras Café. In her debut film itself, she was paired opposite John Abraham himself! We are indeed talking about Raashii Khanna, who is right now a big name down south. It’s the same Raashii Khanna who will be seen on Bollywood screens again as a leading lady opposite the hunky Sidharth Malhotra!

If the teasers and the trailers of Yodha was anything to go by, then, the audiences can be completely assured of witnessing some of the breath-taking action the silver screen has ever seen. The icing on the cake, however, is Sidharth Malhotra (who is in total form), who reportedly took as many as six full months in order to get into the skin of the character! And extracting the best of action sequences from him were the stunt directors of the film, who ensured that they left no stone unturned as far as the film’s action is concerned.

After having worked as an Assistant Director in smash hit films Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Salman Khan's Kick and Hrithik Roshan's War, Pushkar Ojha is now all set to make his directorial debut with Yodha! And what better a film than Yodha, which has all the elements and the ‘ingredients’ that are required for a smash hit film! And as for Sagar Ambre as well, Yodha forms his directorial debut. Besides directing, Sagar has also written the film.
