Yodha box office collection day 5 - Sidharth Malhotra film struggles with single digit spell, earns over ₹2 crore

Yodha box office collection day 5: Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role opened in theatres on March 15. The film opened to mixed reviews by the critics as well as the audience. The film, directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, opened in theatres with a single digit and has been stuck with it. Yodha has now earned ₹21 crore total in India, according to the recent reports.

Day-wise box office collection of Yodha

Yodha started its journey at the ticket window by earning ₹4.1 crore, it took a jump and collected ₹5.75 crore and ₹7 crore on days two and three, respectively. On day 4, the film saw a decline and minted ₹2.15 crore. Now, according to the reports by trade tracker Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹2.30 crore nett in India on its fifth day. So far, the film has collected ₹21.30 crore in India. It is to be noted that the film was produced on a budget of ₹55 crore.

Despite receiving positive reviews from a portion of critics and audiences, the film is struggling at the box office. While the makers made every effort to promote the film in different cities, seems like audiences are not in favor of Sidharth Malhotra's film. With the decline in the collection for two days, it will be difficult for the film to survive after this weekend.

Yodha vs Bastar clash at the box office

For the uninitiated, Yodha, also starring Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna, released in theatres with another Bollywood film, Bastar: The Naxal Story, starring Adah Sharma. Both films were released in theatres on March 15, 2024. However, Bastar was not a big competition for the film as it did not do well at the box office.

The narrative of the action thriller film revolves around Arun Katyal (Sidharth Malhotra), the commanding officer of an elite unit, the Yodha Task Force. He is on a journey of a thrilling rescue operation.
