Yodha box office collection day 2 - Sidharth Malhotra's latest theatrical release got a slow start at the box office. On day one, Yodha minted Rs 4.75 crore at the ticket window. Although it didn't get a flying start, the movie has gained momentum. The Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre-directed film minted a little above Rs 5 crore on day two at the box office. Despite stiff competition from Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan's Shaitaan, Yodha has held its ground well.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani's Yodha collected approximately Rs 5.75 crore at the box office on day two. This brings the total collection of the film to Rs 10 crore. Since Yodha witnessed growth on the second day, we can expect the film to see an upward trend in its collection in the coming days.
A week before Yodha hit the big screen, Ajay and Madhavan's supernatural thriller Shaitaan was released in cinemas. After 8 days of its theatrical run, the movie is now inching closer to Rs 100 crore. The consistent box office performance of Shaitaan may pose a threat to Sidharth Malhotra's film Yodha.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Yodha will have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. After its theatrical run, the film will have the OTT premiere on the streaming platform. It is expected that the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer will drop on the platform after 45 to 60 days of its theatrical run.
As far as Yodha's storyline is concerned, it revolves around a hijack on an airplane. Sidharth Malhotra plays the role of Arun Katyal while Raashii Khanna is seen as Priyamvada. Disha Patani, on the other hand, is seen in the character of an air hostess. Ronit Roy has portrayed the role of Sidharth's father and Tanuj Virwani plays an important part of the Yodha task force.
