Telugu girl Chandini Chowdary is slowly but steadily making her presence felt in the film industry. June 14, 2024, was quite special for Chandini, as not one but two of her films were released on the same day. The films were Music Shop Murthy and Yevam.

Out of them, Music Shop Murthy is now streaming on ETV Win. Now, we have come to know that Aha has bagged the digital rights of Chandini Chowdary's Yevam for a fancy price. Aha released a swanky new poster for the film and revealed that Yevam will be available for streaming on July 25, 2024.

Chandini Chowdary plays a cop in this film, which was directed by Prakash Dantuluri. The makers did not promote the film well and not many even knew such a film was coming out in the first place. Navdeep and Pavan Goparaju produced this film on a very low budget.

Yevam is about a young cop, played by Chandini Chowdary, who is ignored by her superiors. She is entrusted with nabbing a killer who is on the loose. How a newly recruited cop cracks the case is the basic story of the film. Vasishta Simha played the main villain in the film and was appreciated for his role. Keertana Sesh and Neelesh Mandalapu composed the music for this film.

Several critics slammed the film for its boring writing and silly execution. The big complaint about the film was that Chandini Chowdary was too young to portray an intense cop in it. The makers promoted the film as reintroducing Chandini Chowdary like never before but that also did not help one bit.
