Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-release box office collection day 4: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's movie, YJHD, has weaved magic even after 12 years. The film, which was originally released in 2013, recently had its re-release on January 3. The new year began on a nostalgic note for the cine-goers because of the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-release box office report day 4
As per early estimates, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani performed better than its opening day of re-release. While it collected Rs 1.20 crore on day one, the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer minted Rs 1.50 crore on day four at the box office. With this collection, YJHD outperformed Varun Dhawan's Baby John at the ticket window. It earned around Rs 25 lakh almost two weeks after its theatrical release.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was directed by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. In this film, Ranbir played the role of Kabir Thapar aka Bunny whereas Deepika was seen as Naina Talwar. On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur essayed the character of Avinash Arora and Kalki Koechlin played Aditi Mehra.

In an old interview with Rediff, Deepika shared her experience working with Ranbir in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The actress said, "(It was) great! We started our careers on the same day -- he debuted with Saawariya and I debuted with Om Shanti Om. To be working with him post-Barfi and Cocktail is different from working with him in Bachna Ae Haseeno, when we were both relative newcomers."
