Yatra 2 is a film that is being awaited by one and all. The political thriller is all set for a release on February 8, 2024 release. The trailer was released a few days ago and has now caught the imagination of one and all. This new promo has given the film a solid buzz before its release.
The trailer shows the demise of YSR, aftermath incidents, how Jagan started 'Odarpu Yatra' to console those who were suffering following his father's death, and what adversaries he faced due to his decision. The trailer ends with another emotional dialogue where a blind man asks YS Jagan played by Jiiva 'You are our YSR's son. Stand for us as our leader." To that Jiiva assures that ' He has listened to his words and he will be there for them.'
Malayalam star Mammootty will reprise the role of YSR and Kollywood star Jiiva did the role of his son and current AP CM YS Jagan. Yatra 2 explores the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh between 2009-2019, along with YS Jagan's historic walkathon for the sake of needy people.
Yatra was a smash hit at the box office and now, all eyes are on the sequel. The makers are racing against time and are busy with the post-production formalities. A massive pre-release event is being planned in the days to come to take the excitement to the next level. Some popular names from Telugu cinema will be seen in key roles in this film.
Mahi V Raghav directed Yatra 2 which is jointly bankrolled by Three Autumn Leaves, V Celluloids, and Shiva Meka. Santosh Narayanan's music and Madhie's cinematography have enhanced the mood of the trailer to a whole new level. Watch this space for more updates.
