Yatra 2: German actress Suzanne Bernert stuns as Sonia Gandhi

Director Mahi V Raghav made headlines in the OTT world when two of his web series, Save The Tigers and Shaitan, were massive hits. He is now shooting for his political thriller Yatar 2, the sequel to his hit film Yatra, which is a biopic on the late AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy. 

With each passing day, Yatra 2 is getting more interesting and Sonia Gandhi's character from the film has been released. German actress Suzanne Bernert plays the crucial role of the Congress chief in Yatra 2. The filmmakers unveiled her character poster on Tuesday and it looks stunning.

Born in Germany, Suzanne has done ads, Hindi films, web series, and a few TV serials. It’ll be interesting to see how she will play Sonia Gandhi in Yatra 2, which is the biopic on the current Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan. Mahesh Manjrekar plays TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in this film.

Yatra 2 is jointly produced by Three Autumn Leaves, V Celluloid, and Shiva Meka. Malayalam superstar Mammootty plays YS Rajasekhar Reddy in the film, while Tamil star Jiiva plays YS Jagan's role. The shooting is taking place at a brisk pace and the film is expected to be released in theatres on February 8, 2024.

Yatra 2 will showcase how YSR's son, YS Jagan, rose to become a people's leader. It also explores the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh during the period 2009–2019. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film, which is being made on a massive budget and will be released during the 2024 elections in Andhra Pradesh.
